We should also remember that staying fit is not the easiest thing and it can be difficult. Even though being fit isn’t easy, it is necessary. Fortunately, extreme measures are not required. A little effort every day can go a long way. You could discover that it’s a lot of fun.
Setting goals for your fitness level is a wonderful motivation. It keeps your focus locked on the end point you want to reach, rather than getting caught up in how to get past the inevitable obstacles. Goal setting keeps you on track with your fitness program.
Don’t focus exclusively on crunches to work out your abdominal muscles. Just one fat pound burns off for every 250,000 crunches that you complete. Because of this, crunches alone are not sufficient for a total ab workout. Work out your abdominals in other ways, as well.
20 Reps
If you’d like to improve your muscle mass, then you should do less reps, but lift a greater amount of weight. Select a certain muscle group and begin your routine. Use an easy to lift warm-up weight for the first set. Do about 20 reps to warm up: use lighter weights if you cannot do 20 reps. Then do one with heavier weights for less reps. Your third set should be completed with an additional five pounds.
Make a schedule if there are issues with you following through on your fitness routine. Set a number of days during the week that you will work out, and stick to that number. If something on your agenda conflicts with your scheduled workout, make it up as soon as possible, and treat it just as importantly as you would a regular workout.
It’s true, fitness may not always be an enjoyable endeavor, and it may not be the easiest at times. However, a good attitude and the right advice go a long way. It is not necessary to face this arduous task alone. You have already taken the first step towards your new life of fitness.
